Last week I wrote an essay entitled A Self-Identified Crisis which obtained Police Scotland Crime Statistics for Hate Crimes with the aggravation marker ‘Transgender’ as possible motive.
This showed an average (over the last 7 years) of 85 crimes per year – out of a country of 5.4 million.
OFFENSIVE STICKERS
It has been highlighted to me, that some of those 85 will also include complaints about stickers on lampposts with the logo ‘woman = adult human female’, and chalked up slates with the words ‘women won’t wheesht’ and a wee ribbon attached. Sadly, this is true, and it deeply shames Police Scotland that they’ve been politically hijacked to this extent.
It is also in marked contrast with approximately 60,000 domestic incidents per year, of which 4:1 have a female victim and male assailant, and about 36 % relate to crimes of assault, and 31% Breach of the Peace type disturbances.
Since - £125,000 per year is granted by Scot Gov to organisations such as Stonewall, in order that they can lobby, educate, tackle – the current problem of ‘overwhelming’ abuse transgender people suffer in our society today, I wondered if perhaps evidence of this ‘overwhelming’ level of abuse might be found in the Civil arena, since statistical evidence of it in the Criminal figures does not bear it out.
ANY EVIDENCE OF ABUSE TOWARDS TRANSGENDERS IN THE CIVIL ARENA?
To this end, I contacted Citizens Advice Bureau in Scotland and they have kindly provided me with the following:
‘As you will see in the table below, the number of clients seen by CAB with discrimination issues in relation to trans gender identity is very small. Due to a change in the way we record queries regarding discrimination, 2018/19 is the further back I can go in this regard.
In relation to transgender clients, this option has never been recorded in our client profile and so there is no information to provide.
No. of unique clients | 2018/19 | 2019/20 | 2020/21 |
Discrimination |

Age | 20 | 30 | 42 |
Caste | 1 | 1 | 1 |

Disability: Mental health | 110 | 116 | 156 |
Discrimination: HIV status | 1 | ||
Gender identity (Trans) | 2 | 5 | 6 |
Marriage or civil partnership | 2 | 2 | 3 |

Sex/gender | 38 | 42 | 55 |

| 633 | 620 | 728 |
So, between 600 – 700+ complaints in total, and of them 2, 5 and 6 relate to individual claims of bias against Transgender persons. Less than 1%.
While Pregnancy and Maternity (and call me old fashioned if you will, but biology would lean towards this being female victims) in each year it’s over the 10% mark.
I mentioned in that first essay that in 2016-2017, the Gender Recognition Panel issued a total of 318 full gender recognition certificates.
And from information held by National Records of Scotland that up to the end of 2016, the total number of people born or adopted in Scotland who have been recognised in their acquired gender is 287.
For those filled with hatred and/or pathological fear of Transgender persons, what do you do to fill all your spare time? Seriously?
And for those gifting our taxpayer’s money left, right and centre…. Due Diligence! it’s a THING you’re supposed to exercise.
So, I wonder, which Civil Servant, which Elected MSPs, signed off on the grants?
And on the basis of what statistical evidence did they do so? Did they keep a copy?
And who was the Stonewall Representative who presented this ‘evidence’, was it independently verified or corroborated in any way?
MANUFACTURED GRIEVANCE
Because to me, it looks very like a Manufactured Grievance, for the purposes of extracting money on a false premise. And in my book, that’s called Fraud.
I am not a member of any Union (other than the British one, and I’m trying to end that one ASAP) but if you are, and if we lived in a kinder world, I would suggest you drop them a wee note and ask them for the statistics on the above for their organisation, likewise with your employer? And then ask how much money they have granted to Stonewall and the like and see if it is proportionate.
If we lived in a kinder world… but we don’t. And I would strongly advise you not to do the above, not unless you want hounded out of your job, as the women (and some men) have found to their cost when challenging this wildly exaggerated narrative.
T stands for Terrorism – against women.
But this is Scotland - and Women Won’t Wheesht.
